12 French partner companies make up this club :

Twelve French companies formed the Club Coubertin,
which was created specially for the occasion of the Games to
remind people of the importance of Baron Pierre de Coubertin in
the re-establishment of the Olympic Games.

The twelve member companies of the Club Coubertin 92
have been entitled, since 1989, and will be until December 1992, to use various features depicting the Olympic Games of Albertville for their publicity within French territory.

– First, the logo of the Club Coubertin, created to be used exclusively by
members of the club in the context of their company’s communications

– secondly, the emblem and official label of the Albertville Games, all members having the title ‘Official Sponsor of the Sixteenth Winter Olympic Games’ and the right to use the official ‘Albertville 92’ logo in their publicity and sales operations, as well as on their products

– thirdly, Magique, the mascot of the Albertville Games, can be used in publicity and sales operations and on their products

– and, fourthly, the logo of the FNOSC for sales and publicity, and the label ‘Official Sponsor of the French Olympic Team’. Every member of the club has the right to total exclusivity in its product area.
