Do you know that…

In the 1990s, the collection of pins has grown extraordinarily. So, like everyone, I began to collect the pins gleaned here and there, rather attracted by the sports theme, then olympic with the approach of the Games of Albertville in 1992.
It was the trigger, the fervor of the trades in Albertville where I went during the Games, allowed me to immerse myself in this extraordinary atmosphere. My collection of pins has increased, but to continue to progress, it became necessary to move to other Olympic Games, the collector's fairs, frequented assiduously, no longer sufficient to satisfy my acute collection. This is how I went to Lillehammer in 1994, where I found valuable information about the upcoming organization of an international Olympic collectors' fair in Lausanne, Switzerland, at the Olympic Museum recently inaugurated in 1993.
The meeting with all these collectors from all over the world was very enriching and reinforced me in this way. From Games to Games and fairs to fairs, the spirit of my collection has evolved, and I have started to keep various Olympic items that you will find on this site, mainly participant medals, tickets, programs and Mascots.
